Let’s see what DieOmimi and Merriam1 are planning. That’s cool that they are going to be doing narwhal eggs. Time to check out materials and instructions on how to do them.
Materials
Hard boiled eggs
Blue or turquoise egg dye and materials
Black sharpie
Shapes
Gray marker
Hot glue and gun
Scissors
Fin template
Instructions
1. Dye your eggs any shade of blue. I achieved my dark teal color by mixing the blue and denim colored tablets from one of those generic color dyeing kits I got at the grocery store and followed the directions on the back of the box.
2. Cut triangles out of plain copy paper and roll them up from the corner to make a cone shape and glue it shut.
3. Use a gray marker to draw the lines down the horns.
4. Print out the shape templates for your fins (I made 6 different shades of blue in the printable) and cut them out. Or just cut out some little hearts and tear shapes that match your eggs (you can use marker to color the paper to match if you don’t have matching paper)
5. Use a hot glue gun or super glue to attach the horns to the upper side middle of your eggs.
6. Bend the heart shapes back at the bottom, place a tab of glue there and attach this to the opposite end of the egg.
7. Bend the tear shape a little, place glue there and place this on the front middle of the egg.
8. Use a sharpie to draw little eyes and a smile!
Now your eggs can be magical just like real narwhals ;) I love it! Or you could leave the horns off and have whale eggs for a nautical themed party! Still so cute!’ (Source)
“I have a hot glue gun and glue sticks,” says DieOmimi. “We don’t have to purchase scissors or a black sharpie because I have those too.”
Plans are made when and where to meet to get the supplies.
The team of Jean-Luc and Rachel are now starting their google search on how to create the Lego eggs.
‘Ready to make some LEGO® Eggs?
You’ll need eggs – we used 2.5 inch wooden eggs, acrylic paint, a pencil, a black Sharpie marker, and some LEGO® minifigures.
Step 1: Paint your eggs yellow.
Step 2: Choose some minifigures with faces that you want to make.
So far, pretty easy!
Step 3: Sketch the face and hair with a pencil.
Step 4: Paint the hair. If the minifigure has an open mouth, then paint the mouth with white.
Step 5: Draw over the eyes and mouth with a Sharpie marker. Use white paint to make a tiny dot on each eye.’ (Source)
“Looks like we will have to go to the craft store for our supplies,” says Jean-Luc. “Are you free today to meet me there?”
Rachel looks at her phone to see if she has any text messages from the players. No messages, so they arrange on a time to meet at the craft store.
