Aha! There is another mischievous monster in hiding. Wonder if he also created a prank for the characters. Rancid and Cupcake Carl have their phones out and their phone calls are non-stop! Let’s listen in to hear what they are saying.

“Hello,” says Rancid.

A voice on the other end asks him if his refrigerator is running. He tells the person that it is.

“Then you had better go catch it!” exclaims the voice. 

Before Rancid hangs up we can hear the voice laughing hysterically. Then Cupcake Carl’s phone rings. He answers the call and hears the voice on the other end speaking.

“Is this Carl?” asks the voice.

Cupcake Carl confirms that he is Carl. The person calls him by name and asks him if he has any phone messages. Cupcake Carl is incredibly angry, so he hangs up on the person. He explains to Rancid that this is the fifth time that the same person has called asking for his phone messages.   Rancid’s phone rings again and he answers.

The voice on the other end tells him that he works for the phone company and they will be doing a phone line blowup to clean the dirt in the phone lines which affects voice clarity.   

“We wanted to give you this cleaning alert,” says the voice. “When we start the cleaning, we will be sending electricity in all the phone lines and the shock will be 400 volts, therefore, do not use your phone for the next few hours.”

Rancid hangs up the phone and drops it on the floor. He tells Cupcake Carl what the man told him. The two of them don’t understand why they are getting all these phone calls. Just then Cupcake Carl’s phone rings again.  

“Hello is this Carl?” asks the voice on the other end. “Hey Carl, I am calling you from the Candy Town radio station. You have won two tickets to the next concert.”

Cupcake Carl gets so excited and asks Rancid if he would like to go with him to the concert.  Rancid shrugs his shoulder and says yes. He tells the person how excited he is. 

“All that you have to do is to answer one simple question,” says the voice. “Here is the question. If a cow laughed, will milk come out of her nose? You have 10 seconds to answer the question.”  

Cupcake Carl doesn’t know the answer, but he tells the voice that maybe it’s true.  

“Oh, I’m sorry! Wrong answer,” says the person. ‘When a cow laughs, ice cream cones come out of her nose. You do not win any tickets.”  

The person begins to laugh and then hangs up. Oh no!  

What’s going on? Hey is this April Fool’s day or what? They all walk away and Dachs floats away.

The monster comes out of hiding and he is laughing hysterically.
