How do hurricanes form?

Tiffi is so excited that Elsa wants to create yet another story. Time to do some googling!

‘Depending on where a tropical storm is born, they are called by unique names:

• Hurricanes – born in the Atlantic ocean

• Tropical Cyclones – born in South East Asian oceans

• Typhoons – born in the Pacific ocean

• Willy Willies – born near Australia

Tropical storms move with powerful winds, heavy rain and have an amazing destructive force. Each storm system has unique characteristics such as high humidity levels and air temperatures and can carry heavy winds ranging from 119 kph to 252 kph+ in strength.’ (Source) 

Tiffi is not sure that she can understand how it forms from that image so she decides to try a video search instead.

Now Tiffi understands how they form! She is so happy that she found this video. 

Just as Tiffi is ready to search for more articles she gets a text message that a player needs her help. Guess she’ll have to get back to the googling later when she comes back home.
