‘Legend has it that on July 4, 1916, four immigrants gathered at the very first Famous hot dog stand in Coney Island and made eating contest history. As the story goes, they were competing to see who was the most patriotic. How did they determine the winner? With a hot dog-eating contest, of course!

She shows Kimmy the article. Kimmy is surprised to learn that they have hot dog eating contests.
“I read somewhere that those who compete in this type of contest have to practice stretching out their stomachs by drinking a lot of milk or water very quickly or by eating a lot of fibrous foods in a matter of minutes,” Tiffi says. “Doesn’t that sound gross?”
Tiffi goes on her fine to look for a video of the 2021 hot dog eating champion and then they both watch it together.
