Aha, another tip coming through and this tip is from @Nenikapaki.
“Hello Elsa. How are you?” asks Nenikapaki. “I used to play good before but things had changed when levels get higher . I study the tiles first and think about the steps on how to get color bombs and wrapped candies. I usually hit the bottom first. Thanks for the tag Diamond Lim.”
“Nenikapaki, I don’t know how to study the tiles and that’s my problem,” says Elsa. “Your brain might be wired to see the moves that can be made and then create the steps to get those special candies. I never thought of studying them and then creating steps on how to do it. Thanks!!
“Are we doing fanfiction now?” asks @Fences
“What do you mean Fences?” asks Elsa.
“Elsa i mean, you ARE writing stuff about candy crush,” says Fences.
“Maybe I better check the wording again,” Elsa thinks. “If more than one person is thinking it’s just candy crush then I have to check what I added.”
Time for a break. Elsa makes lunch and then goes back to the Player’s Corner. Her co-HUB moderator, @wykoon just posted a tip.
“Hi Elsa. Thanks for creating this discussion to gather tips from us,” says wykoon. “Usually, I don't have a specific strategies in all the games I've played. But now, I have the tendency to screen the board and try to match candies at the bottom of the board so that there is higher chances for candies to drop from the top, giving us the opportunity to create some special candies. I use to rush my games but now I take my time and play instead. I hope the abovementioned tips are helpful.”
Good idea! Elsa has to spend more time concentrating on the level.
“I’ll be glad to help, says @peque123.
She is happy that peque123 has offered to help. Hopefully he/she will come back with some good tips. Next is a message from @Adav.
“Combos - the magic word!!,” Adav says. “The right combos at the right time, and you can get a long way - providing you have a good board... the higher the levels, the less likely you are to get a good board within 5 - 10 tries without boosters.”
“Adav, I’m not sure what game you are mentioning this tip but when I play CC Saga I use the hand switch very often,” Elsa says. “So if I see a color bomb and another that might be 2 or 3 spaces away I use the hand switch so that they are next to each other and then they clear out the board. I don’t know if that’s right or wrong but that’s how my brain is wired to see how far apart the special candies are and then use the hand to bring them together. Is your brain wired where you see where the special candies are and then you think of steps to make so that they align next to each other? Thanks!”
Wow! How wonderful this is that the community members are offering Elsa such great tips! Here’s one from @Moh1977.
“Hi Elsa,” says Moh1977. “Thanks Diamond Lim. “You have to be patient and try again and again. Use the boosters and you can win.”
“Moh1977, how does one become patient?” asks Elsa. “Assuming that you must be patient can you please give me some tips on how to become patient? Thanks!”
Elsa gets notification that someone sent her a PM so she goes to check it out. @Rock2233 offers some good information.
“In CCSS fish is very glitch, says Rock2233. “If obstacle is there then fish hit obstacle then don't trust fish . Play your normal game I suggest. Elsa listen in CCSS fish is big help to clear the level , but when obstacles come then don't use fish ever 🎉🎉”
“Rock2233, I remember way back when we had an idea posted about the “Flying Fish”. I think it was in CC Soda Saga and it got so many votes because the fish swam wherever they wanted to go. Were you here at that time? So what you are suggesting is that I don’t use the fish when there are obstacles, meaning blockers? So if there is a blocker the fish don’t swim to unlock it? Maybe that’s what the flying fish idea meant. I just thought of something I wonder if we should create an idea for the studio to offer fish hints along with their match 3 hints. Thanks!”
Let’s continue - Lots of good tips!
