Elsa sees a new tip from @Kate3A.

“Hi Elsa , Here is a tip for CandyCrushFriendsSaga”, Kate3A says. “Look for supermoves. When special candies are close together on the board (for example a fish near a stripped candy), your character tells you to match them. Don't be hasty, look around first. Maybe with 2-3 moves you can make a colorbomb near and do a lot more damage!”

“kate3A, doesn’t the game offer move hints if you don’t make a move quickly enough?” Elsa asks. “I thought all games did it and sometimes I do use the hints to help me make a move. But maybe I need to try your tip to look for special candies first and also for ways to create a colorbomb. Now I have a question for you – have you completed the Olivia’s Encave event in Friends yet? I bet you have! I am stuck on level 7. So now that you wrote all that you did I am going to try your tips to see if I can clear the rest. Thanks!”

Elsa hangs around for a bit to see if new messages come in. Aha! We have a new community member here. @Dally1_zn asks for assistance with his level. Elsa asks him which game but then offers more information along with a spreadsheet to help him find his way around the game areas.

“Sorry Diamond Lim, says @DU123. “i don't play this game so wouldn't be of any help to anyone 😭”

“DU123 it doesn't matter what game you play,” rebelchild responds.  “Elsa is just asking for players tips on how to beat different games. It's for an upcoming storyline she is developing. There are no wrong responses as we all have different playing styles.”

I didn't read it like that, but ok, i'll have a think. Ok Elsa, i'll certainly have a think about it, hopefully i'll come up with something 😊”

Elsa realizes that she didn’t word the content correctly because non-candy crush players are commenting thinking that it’s only for candy crush games. She goes back to page one and edits the message to encourage everyone to post their tips.

*Update*

If anyone plays the non-candy crush games please feel free to share tips for your game too. Just let me know which game it is for. The more tips that we get the better the story. Also if someone reads this message and they play your game they might be very happy that you shared your tips.

Later on when Elsa checks in, she sees a nice list of tips from @Magic_Mixer.

“1- Especially on your last moves, scan the board fully. If you are a person that plays impulsively you should still try to check all your possible choices since when you have 4 moves left if you are close to winning

2- If you keep wasting moves trying to clear 1 blocker, you should try to check if there is an easier way to clear it before you run out of moves

3- If you get a special candy that is tough to get on a specific board, don't use it immediatly: you should check if there's a better way to use it, like a combo

4- On ingredient levels, pay attention when you switch a candy and ingredient: you might make it get stuck on a stuck zone!”

Lots of useful tips. When she looks again she sees another tip from Magic_Mixer.

“Oh, and here is another tip,” says Magic_Mixer. “-Many players hate reshuffles, but they can actually be really helpful. If you are playing a level and you see that you are running low on possible switches, and there is an area of the board which is stuck, another strategy you can choose to use is trying to purposly get a reshuffle. I do it quite often, and it is useful, just keep in mind that it may take a bit of moves.”

Elsa decides to respond now before she loses these tips.

“Magic_Mixer, thank you so much for taking the time to write all that you did here,” says Elsa. “I need to retrain my brain to look for possible moves when I have very few moves left. Because I am an impulsive player I never look at the number of moves left and am quite surprised when I see a next move but then get the pop up saying that I have no moves left. I wonder how long it would take me to retrain that in my brain. All of your tips are fantastic! Look for an easier way to clear a blocker …… don’t clear special candies immediately. When you wrote #4 that I kind of do but most of the time I just move the ingredient and then it does get stuck. Wow these tips are great! I never thought of trying to create a reshuffle!! I notice that so many times in Friends I get 3 or 4 reshuffles when I’ve hardly even used many moves. I thought it was just bad luck for me but now I wonder if other players are not getting as many or doing what you suggest about creating a reshuffle. Thanks!”

Yippee! Another message and this is from @Alienscar.

“My tips for CCS Elsa,”  says Alienscar. “Don't be in a rush to use a colour bomb, especially at the start of a level. If the board is one of those where most of it is full of blockers and there are only a few rows of candy it is sometimes better to keep your colour bomb until there is more for it to detonate. Don't make the mistake of hoarding the 'valuable' boosters. If you have them and need to use them, then use them. A UFO is on no value if you just keep it.”

“Alienscar, and that’s my problem because most of the time I tend to use the color bomb but how to use it might also be my problem,” states Elsa. “So if I have 2 or 3 different color candies around the color bomb I usually look at the board to see how many of those colors need to be cleared and I choose the color with the most. Maybe I’m doing that wrong.  I will try your tip of not using it when it pops up. Thanks!”

Let’s continue - Study the board and be patient!
