Improved functionality for SENDING and RECEIVING lives in CCFS

Many players are frustrated because they do not receive the lives that friends send to them. Also, they know that their friends don't receive the lives that have been sent to them. So, I created this idea as a place to vote for improving this functionality in Candy Crush Friends Saga. Please vote for this idea if you would like to see this feature become more robust in this game.
Note: The "vote" button is located in the lower left corner of this idea. The counter will increase when you cast your vote. If you have already voted for this idea, the counter will decrease, so don't try to vote twice!
Currently, players must have full (5) lives before they can send lives to other players. If they have less than full lives, they can ask other players for lives..ย
Perhaps the solution could incorporate a previous idea from @Spinnifix so players can get notifications when friends have asked for or sent them lives.

Thank you @MountainMom this is great and I'm so glad someone brought it up I have spent few days ago adding friends on king.com and they not only don't show up in my friends list on the game but we are not able to send or receive lives. If you are friends they should show up in your friends list in the game and should be able to help each other by sending lives ๐ค

I voted for this, but last time I was asking questions about the issue with sending and receiving lives, @DieOmimi pointed me to an older thread for voting on. Apparently this same idea is scattered all over because they consider the fact that it's not working to be a feature rather than a bug. Here's the link I was sent to when I asked about it.
This is my original post on the issue from a couple of months ago. I've seen several others as well.

Happy to help. Quite frankly this is one of the most frustrating areas of the game. Given our very active team, most of whom send lives around a lot, we should all have lives waiting for us, but this is seldom the case. Frankly, I consider this a BUG that it's not working properly to begin with.
