I successfully unlocked Olivia's new gardening costume.

However, I find the storybook format a big investment in time (a level a day for 3 weeks) to unlock just one costume. I could understand the effort if a new CHARACTER was being introduced. I much preferred the storybook contest before Christmas when I had an opportunity to win 3 character costumes.

On a related note, I recently acquired an activated Yeti the tennis player sticker by just collecting 30 stars in regular game play. It's been a lot of help for very little effort.

I totally agree with you @Lil'_Momma. I wish they added a new costume to unlock every week. Maybe one week there is Odu's spring costume and the next Jelly queens flower costume.
