Hello Xander
I understand you well and thank you for your kind words for me. yes i am like that Thanks for your feedback and maybe this will help to develop something better and safer for the games and the teams.
Perhaps my input could please be passed on to the designated CM and then to the studio.
Many Thanks
The only thing you can see on the dachs teams is the current level in the game that each member is on. On my team there are 2 members below 100 levels and some close to level 4000. Some members are very active, and some not at all. I realize that everyday life and tech issues can prevent players from participating. My team is a no pressure team. Play when you can, but have fun.
Another note: you cant see other teams to join if you are already on a team. You must leave the team you are presently on first.
For me thats enough, for now!
Its still a "single player" game. Basicly you play for and on your own. And the team is just usefull for the Dachs event. 😉 As long as that stays, my opinion is that this informatie is enough for teamleaders.
I played and moderared games were team/tribes are a must. That's completly different. And the moderation is different. Teamleader were accountable for what happend and could be excluded if the didn't uphold the (common sense) rules. So in my opinion there are no safety rules, there is no game moderation and no accountability for teamleaders. So giving teamleaders (strangers) more privileges over others, is not a good idea.
Again: the team options are under used. To little effents and for no useless until Dachs starts. THAT could be better and more "profitable". Otherwise, in my opinion, we will get situation that are bad....
But said enough... We will see 😉 A decent and normale discussion isn't bad.
@Xxander, I will echo the information already shared by @rebelchild. The team feature is most valuable during the Dachs Delivery Service event. There you can complete more DDS events by combining your efforts with 19 other players. These players are randomly assigned initially, but you can change teams if you want -- you must "quit" one team before you can ask to join a new team.
The role of team leader is limited -- leaders can "kick" players off of their team or approve requests from new players asking to join the team. It is not intended to be a burdensome responsibility but rather to give players a chance to play with know friends. I have asked our CM to check with the Studio regarding the team functionality in Friends -- are there any know issues or is it functioning properly.
We appreciate your feedback and avid participation in our games. Please enjoy the many contests offered throughout this Community.
I don't know what suggestions Spinnifix made about it. She didn't say anything about it.
But I can say that almost two years ago I tried to focus the attention of the Studio on this issue. Here is a link to the discussion:
But they are not interested at all. No one has done anything to resolve this issue and no one will do anything. I'm sure.
Now I spit on it and I have not addressed the Studio with this issue for a long time.
To be honest, it's less important to me now than it was then. Now I know my team well. Behind each player's avatar, I see not just the player's name, but also his history of being in our team. I remember how he plays. I see it. There are players who play very actively. They go through many levels (I see it in the current levels table). There are players who pass few levels, but I see them almost every day in the team game "Delivery". I think they also benefit the team.
I don't have any other information about player usefulness, so I figured I'd go with that information. And I will not remove these players from the team.
I no longer believe that the Studio can give us some useful function to get at least approximate information about the usefulness of the players. If they did, I would admire this event. But I don't believe in miracles))))
In a CCSS game, I'm always interested in what country the players I'm competing against in Match 4 are from. I'm just curious)))). But for me it has no practical significance for the success of the task.
But if you want to ideally create a team exclusively of German-speaking players, then this function is probably important for you. If you get the Studio to make this feature for you and other people, you will become a "dragon slayer")))).
But I want to tell you that King does not always give this information correctly.
In CCS, the name of the country from which I play was constantly changing. These were the names of two countries that were constantly changing. The day before yesterday there was a country1, yesterday there was a country2, today there was a country1 again. I'm talking about the recent past. Now I rarely play CCS, but a few months ago I "played from different countries" every day)))).
What does it mean that I only want a German team? No, that's not how it's meant to be. Players can go in anywhere they want to go. It's only important if a chat function should come in that they see it and then maybe have to translate it. It is open to all nationalities, only the team leader is from the country. I hope you understand what I mean!!
