Hello! And welcome to our community 😊
As we need to comply with GDPR regulations to ensure your data is protected, our players receive the in-game popup about sending lives to Facebook friends. When you log in using your Facebook account, we receive certain information from your profile. This allows us to show your friends who are also playing and to enable features like sending and receiving lives.
Rest assured, we only access the information you permit through your Facebook settings, and we will not receive any information about your Facebook friends who do not play our games. If you prefer not to share certain information, you can adjust your Facebook privacy settings.
Let me know if you have any other questions!
She says that when she clicks the accept button. Nothing happens.
So... this is just a pop-up to collect data and has nothing to do with sending and receiving lives?
Hi @SWilson1 yes, I also sometimes get this popup (but in a different game).
Have you ever tried to send life to your friend without receiving a request? I always do this when I open my game and pick up the daily reward. I then (when I have claimed my daily reward) immediately go to the heart icon in the top left of the game and click on "Send Life". Then it shows me my friends list, regardless of whether someone has requested a life) and I send a life to all the friends in my list.
I can communicate with some of my friends outside the community because I know them personally. We inform each other when we have sent lives and can tell the sender that they have arrived.
Can someone please tell me what exactly this is? I tried to explain to my friend that it's just a pop-up to collect data and she doesn't believe me. She thinks it's to get more lives. She clicks it and nothing happens. She cannot receive or send lives.
Hi @SWilson1 your friend may need to review and update her privacy settings on Facebook. We have an article on this topic in the Help Center:
