Ad causing App to crash

Hi,
At the moment I am recieving invitations to watch an ad for extra moves or to start a level with a booster but as soon as I accept the game crashes. Can someone look into this please?

Check your device and game are up to date and log out and restart you device and log back in
If this does not resolve your issue can you let us know if this is all videos or just a certain video

The video ad feature is still a test feature, which means it's still not complete to be fixed to everyone mostly.
This also means that the video ad feature will not always be available and not found in all player's games or on all devices.
So if you at the moment are missing the video ads in your game, just stay tuned and keep an eye in the game to see when it's back.

Thanks for the tips but no luck so far. As far as I can tell it's all ads, I have not been able to view an ad for a few days, crashes to the phone home screen every time. It's very frustrating when I forget not to click 'watch' and crash the game as it takes a minute or so to load back up.

It's not just you, I've had exactly the same problem off crashing when playing video ads for the past two days!
So, I followed the recommended advice, logged out, installed the latest version, restarted, logged back in...
Made absolutely no bloody difference, except that I've now lost all my 120 assorted lollipops that took many months to build up! So, right back to zero. And still crashing on video ads. Not every time, but this has never been a problem until recently.

So, fully updated but still crashes as of this morning. Just click "watch ad" and kaboom, slight pause and then I'm right back at the OS.

Hello @ericfishblud and a very warm welcome to our friendly King Community. I don't have the option to watch ads in the King games so I of course am not experiencing that issue, but I saw another player in Candy Crush Saga is also having the same problem. I will ask the CMs to see if they know of anything that may be causing this issue. In the meantime, Hopefully you can remember not to watch the ads until it is fixed, so you can continue to enjoy the game.
