Do you send lives?

I've become increasingly frustrated over the sending/requesting lives feature. I send lives when I get requests, but haven't received any when I ask. There is no technical issue as far as support can see, and I've followed the troubleshooting steps provided by support. I honestly don't want to believe that a game with "friends" in the title and such a large community would have players who only accept but not send lives to others. This is literally the most valuable feature of the game because sending a life doesn't take from the lives you have. I can't be the only person this is an issue for, can I? I know someone here has an answer or suggestion or maybe a life to send. 💚💚

What you have noticed has been a topic in our forum for a long time. A player has developed an idea, but it has not yet been implemented. Please click on the green font to view it and vote if necessary. improved-functionality-for-sending-and-receiving-lives-in-ccfs
The more votes an idea has, the higher the probability of its implementation.

Is there a way to see if the friends I was assigned are still active?
I've only received one request and no lives given since I reinstalled Friends. My level was restored I'm guessing my friends were too?
I voted and added I'd like the option to add friends to our list so we have active players.

I have 26 names on my friends list right now. I uninstalled Friends about 2 years ago and recently reinstalled it. I believe you're assigned/given friends randomly but not 100% sure in that.
Do you have friends that come up when you click on the envelope in top left corner? This is a part of my list.

No. The only time I have an envelope there is when someone is requesting a life. Otherwise it's a +. If I hit the +, it shows a list of players where I can select all or choose an individual to send the request. The same player I sent a life to earlier has a sent another request. When I was requesting a life earlier, I asked that one and got nothing.
