My life has been governed by the advice given by my wonderful Mum. She told me always to be honest and not lie; never to break a promise; to love and respect people - she always said that the Friends you make on the way up will be there for you in the way down.

The best advice I got was when I had my first child. I was so nervous, I want to be a good mom, I wasn’t sure what to do, am I holding him right ? Is he hungry ? Is his diaper on right? So many things you wonder if you’re doing everything right, and finally, a nurse who came for a check up, and told me “ You know, your son won’t ever know if you did it wrong. You will make mistakes but he won’t remember when he’s old enough to get married “ It was the best advice anyone gave me when I first had kids.
