I dont like the idea of timed boosters on tournaments, but I can understand the profit point of view. People will even more, try to buy their tickets for live finals (Allstars). Spamming party poppers all the way doesnt require any skill and Tournaments should favour skill instead of money.

How long was it since you finished that episode race? A long time?

There are currently 20645 levels. They add 60 new levels every week, so the target is constantly moving!

You're not alone, players have complained of targeting issues with the Jelly Fishes. Some efforts were made to fix this, but apparently, they were not successful enough. I can only hope they can take a second look.
