@ Elsa and @Keke98 I was born and raised in the suburbs of Chicago Illinois . Snow never slowed us. We'd Trick or Treat in the snow, like it was a normal day. When we got old enough, all of the kids on the block would go in a group unsupervised ( back then it was ok to ) and stay out late snow or not. We'd have to use pillow cases for our Truck or Treating bags. Geez we'd have candy 🍬 for months, at least mom didn't have to worry about buying Christmas candy lol.
Hi @grama, I am loving all these memories! I am from Montreal/Canada and we always got a lot of snow but never on Halloween Day. Just very, very cold and it was difficult to get those store bought costumes on over our winter coats. Then around the corner from where we lived there were some apartment buildings so we didn't have to walk in the cold. But we sure sweated a lot running down the hallways in the building.
Well since I am now retired from my job I don't mind it snowing because I don't have to go outside. I can just look outside and watch the snow falling on the tree branches. I promise that I won't throw blame your way.
As you may already know @Elsa I don't have so much Halloween memories. But there is one I am quite fond of. Exactly two years ago when I was teaching English in China, one of my favorite students, adorable little girl Elsa was a princess and I was her prince 🥰
