    Hello there Mercedes. It's amazing indeed. And sometimes even temporary solution or just an answer are not offered. I know of people who complained of serious, but I mean really serious, bugs, and they were completely ignored. Believe me, this is more at the loss of King than it is for customers. My idea is that King has just become too big, they can't control the beast anymore. You would think that being a six billions dollars company they would have the means to keep things under control, but no. Very surprising.

    Congratulation for having taken things in your own hand and having fixed your problem.

    Unbiased third party here... This has happened to me as well. It was on an Android device, though, and I don't know if that's what you're on with the problem. It did work for me to log out and back in. It's worth a try! I used to teach people how to do their job and then had to audit and advise when they started DOING it. Words to begin your troubleshooting journey: When in doubt, take it out.Start at beginning.
    "Turn off, Wait 30 seconds, Turn on" are the first words out of every tech support specialist I have ever spoken with. 
    Uninstalling, resetting to factory settings are LAST resorts. You will lose your saved data EVERY time. Only that which is saved on King servers for you will remain. 
    Force stop the app, clear the cache, go back to see if it's fixed.
    I have to do that ALL the time to sync my phone and tablet. I've played the same Nightmare level over again because, duh, I'm STUPID and forgot I passed it! Then I realize, Hey, I beat this level big dummy!

    This will be a Never Ending issue if this Community does not put a real Employee Trouble Shooter paid just to make sure issues are resolved. They are deploying members to answer questions that are way above their pay grade, even when they have no pay grade at King Games at all. Why do they do this? The answer is Money💰💰💰.😂

    This is the only Community that hands out Badges and Titles like peanuts. Other Communities give each members recognition for resolving an issue or issues. They only hand out badges. They don't give them titles for scoring so many points in playing the games members created themselves. They do not put them in the frontline to answer technical questions they never handled before. Other Communities don't give Expert Titles to members, not unless they are hired with that title and paid with real money. King Community is more like a Mickey Mouse Community where nothing is taken seriously. BTW, this is not disrespect! This is a fact!

    Uninstalling the App is not the same as Resetting Your Operating System like Windows 10 or your device to the Manufacturer's Settings. Those are two different things. You only reset your Operating System if it is the one that is Corrupted. You don't do this often.

    You can set your browser to Automatically Clear The Cache for you. This is not always the reason for issues on an App. This is a Temporary Resolution. This is used just to show that the Community has a resolution. It may or may not even fix the problem.

    When my game had this problem it was on my tablet. I was advised that there was a server outage on Facebook that morning and that I should try logging out and back in. It worked for me. 
    I have had to clear the cache on both my tablet and phone to sync them, usually it's when I got right from the Fire tablet to the phone. I have to make sure I know what level I should be in cuz I've replayed the same super hard levels more than a few times! 

    I have the app on my laptop but I'm avoiding my laptop right now due to a major conflict with my school. It makes me angry just to look at it, knowing that I'm in a battle instead of getting ready to graduate in a couple weeks. That turmoil is half the reason why I play CCS to distract me!

    Your Windows 10 problem may need to be looked at by the support team, I agree. I was input sharing my experience to give that player a possible fix for their Facebook connection issue if it was an Android or iOS app. The PC version has to be very different than the smaller mobile app.

    FYI, my Windows 10 Operating System has no issue. I maintain it regularly. As I said I fix Computers and App Issues for a living. I don't need the Support Team to work on it.

    It was the CCS App that became messed-up all of a sudden after 7 years of no issues. Why at this time? Was it a coincidence or something else? I am just glad I fixed it myself.

    I’m really sick of getting all of these timed boosters just as I’ve lost my last life.  What a joke! Maybe they think you’ll buy more lives so you can actually use them.  Not going to happen!  I have tried not accepting them and closing but that hasn’t worked for me.  I have a lot of boosters now since the big fix.  I refuse to waste them so they will just accumulate until the fix is reversed.  Not buying any piggy banks for 30 gold bars, 33 gold bars, or 60 gold bars.  You have gone and made me mad so not spending another penny until something changes so that your hard earned boosters aren’t just frittered away for nothing.  I’m not a coder or game developer so I’m short on suggestions on how to change the game other than reverse what you did with the fix and get rid of the timed boosters or make sure they are presented when you at least have a few lives left.  If you can’t do that, make it so we can place at lease 2 boosters anywhere on the board.

    A fix for restarting the game would be great.  As for the timed boosters get rid of them.  I want to use my boosters when I want to and when I have lives.   

    Is any of this asking for to much?  I don't think so!!!

    Okay, now you're changing the way the game has worked since I began playing, and I'm on level 2379! 

    King, if you think this change will bring in more revenue, you will find that you're mistaken.  I will not continue to play the game unless this is changed back to the way it used to be.  And I have spent a lot of money on Candy Crush.  You just lost a good customer.

    As someone who has been playing for years, but just discovered the message boards, it was pretty unfortunate to discover this “fix” while playing. It cost me multiple boosters and was my last life. I was frustrated and disappointed then, and I thought it was a glitch. Knowing that this was intentional makes me think there should have been a pop up alert or something to let all users know. 

    This “fix” does feel like a money grab, but I am feeling rather committed to not spending money in game anymore. Looks like I’m far from alone in that.
