My Run for Member of the Month

Hello CMs & Superstars!

I’m writing this because now that January has ended I’m guessing that –on top of the huge load of work you already have- you are probably starting to discuss the election of last month’s Member of the Month (as my dear friend @Sukanta_Biswas -extreme 👑 connoisseur- has told me).

Well, without trying to sound cocky or making you think I believe my own hype 😝, I thought I might help you out ➡️➡️➡️ Why not choose me?!

A few facts that might help you consider me: I joined the Community right before the New Year and have since been super active, gotten to work my way around it and have even made friends who have helped me deal with a tough moment I had last week.

Please, don’t take this as inappropriate “self-endorsement” –one would not really want to be Impeached, IYKWIM 🤣- and feel free to disregard my plea. In which case, I would like to propose that @Glenn1972 be chosen –again, probably over-stepping here 😊- because he is more than amazing and really gives his all in the Community.

I do not think that making discussions so that you can become the member of the month are right as when people read it they might think that their chances are less! And after all the decision is made by cms and superstars not members such as we are.

The photos you have shared will not help as you should be helping people on discussions to become member of the month! Not increasing your badges and levels by playing. You winning in the race does not show your capabilities to become the member of the month!

Thanks for your comment and no, I do not think it was rude at all. It is you sharing your opinion and friendly advice which is more than welcomed -and, specially since I tagged you to see if you'd support "my quest", it would be rude of me to disregard your comment.

Having said that, I'd would like you to consider that I posted this Discussion as -what I think- was a funny way of getting myself noticed, yes- but also to get other Members to know about the Member of the Month Award in the hopes it would make them participate even more. Also, I did not actively tag any Superstar or CM to ask for their endorsement or support for -as you so correctly say- they are in charge of making the decision and it would be pointless to tag them since they already see what we all do in the Community. I did tag other Members that I've interacted with -such as you- to make it a little more fun.

As for the photos, please consider that they were in this post for the reasons I explained above. Have you taken a look at all the things I do around the Community to help others, to promote other Members Ideas -like I did with yours on Jan. 8th, being that the first Idea I promoted when I joined the Community- and to add valuable content to the Community?
