I recently uninstalled and reinstalled both candy crush saga and candy crush soda. I had both games backed up to my cloud and I lost all my boosters and more. This happened to me a month ago as well. This is so frustrating. Can you please help!
Boosters are saved directly in your device's memory, which always allows you to use them while playing offline. This also means that if you delete and reinstall the game, then Boosters can be lost and just saved Levels.
It’s best not to store too many Boosters on your device, as there is a chance they may be lost, or affect the game play. and save your game in Facebook and King Account.

I would just like to add in the above answers that although the lost boosters are not recoverable but in case if you have any purchased boosters please contact directly to player support from your game and they have your purchase history i am very much hopeful that a positive action would be taken in your favour. Or you may contact them through below link.
Yes, you will stay on the same level and your gold ribbons will also be saved, but you will lose your boosts and lives as they are stored on the device memory and not on the game app

The Boosters and Lives are not backed up to King's server through Facebook or your King account like the levels and Gold Bars.
If you use a cloud or any backup system to back all game data, please check with the backup provider to check what goes wrong in the back up.
If you lose any purchased items, then always contact Player Support to get these replaced.
