New Edge update & now I am not making progress.
Options
My Edge browser was updated & I have been playing levels & advancing. When I am done playing I close my browser and/or shutdown my PC. When I come back to continue playing I am back at a level lower than where I was when I stopped playing. I think I am on level 2246 but I have been dropped back to 2242. So frustrating! I also have to disable sounds & music every time I start playing.

@frank1711 Hi and welcome, First thing to check is the level you keep getting took back to has stars on it as sometimes if a level does not register properly this can happen. If that is not your issue clear your browser cache and restart your device and then log back in and see if this solves your issue.
If playing through facebook as the sound and music is not controlled by the app this can happen with the facebook game

I've cleared the cache & restarted my system. I have the same problem on Edge & Chrome. I don't have the Win10 app installed & cannot even if I wanted to because the system is under configuration control. It seems to lose progress I've made while connected to my VPN & resume playing via my normal internet connection or vice-versa where I make progress via my normal internet connected & resume playing while connected to VPN. This is very frustrating since the levels are much more difficult & often take a long time to complete. I was on 2246, got booted back to 2241. I started playing there & got to 2245 only to be dropped back to 2244. You think something as simple as maintaining process wouldn't be difficult.

It might be your VPN that is the issue, remember it reroutes from your internet service provider (ISP), to your private VPN server. So check on that. From what I understand so far, it sounds like you are using your browser to play. But as our CM @Crazy Cat Lad asked you:
- Are you playing on Facebook or King.com?
- Does this happen if you try another browser or play via the W10 app instead?
If on "Facebook" have you done your settings there, like giving "Permissions To Your Apps"? Their updating their site has caused some issues here. Also, have you "Synced" up your accounts, "Facebook" with King.com?

Regardless if I am on the VPN or not I have the same problem. When the browser closes I lose any progress. If just happened again! I had re-progressed to 2246. I closed my browser & then reopened to play again & I am back at level 2244.
