@Mwj1770 Hi and welcome. Facebook has recently had a platform update and few people having problems with sending and receiving lives. Would try checking you Facebook app permissions, go to Facebook settings and webs and apps and check all game notifications is enabled

If it's still not worked by Save Current Level Steps, you can click on "Contact Us" on bottom of the page then select "Problems with my Game" and then "Game didn't save" and finally you ask a problem and send Game ID (How to find your Game ID) that I hope they will help you but it taken longer.

Lives received from Facebook friends are notifications sent in Facebook. They're held in your profile and delivered into the game once per notification.
This means that if you update Facebook, change your profile, reinstall the Facebook app or even update its app software, those Facebook notifications may get lost, as they've been delivered and cleared from the queue. While it is possible to store in-game messages from your friends, due to these factors outside our control, we cannot guarantee that they will remain on your device indefinitely.
Lives can also be lost through an update to the game, your own device or by restarting your device, which clears a certain amount of memory, depending on your device. We therefore recommend limiting the number of messages and lives that you save; a full mailbox can also affect the functionality of the game.
Don't forget that you can always request plenty more lives at any time from your friends! Also if you use a King account instead of Facebook, you will not encounter this issue.

Though I have lost my levels on my iPad, I have not lost them on my iPhone. Wondering if there is w way to sync them. Not only do I have this problem with candy crush, I have the same exact problem with soda crush and yes, I’m on level 1585 on my phone but had to start over on my iPad.
when I addressed apple with my problem, they stated that the gaming company needed to upgrade to support software version 14.0.1. My iPhone is a 6 that is still running on software version 12.4.8 which the games are still supported.
can I get your take on this or any additional information
@Mwj1770 Hi and welcome, I use an iphone 6 and never have any problems with my device. If you have your levels on your phone but not on your ipad sounds like a connection issue to the server. whether this is because your ipad needs upgrading or not i cannot tell you but would try uninstalling the game and facebook from your ipad if you have a facebook account. and then reinstall CCS and sign in and see if it syncs you correctly . If not play a level and see if this forces it to sync as sometimes can need this. If it works then reinstall facebook.
If not please put the version your ipad is running and we can try to find out if the game is still supported on this version
