What is the point of this game. My fantastic five is impossible due to me being the only point scorer. Please explain why you have this King

Is there any way to get all active team mates on the team? Almost every week I have 3 on my team that don’t even play a game as there is always 0 after their name. Had the pleasure of being with an active team a couple times and the final bonus is darn sure a good one!
