Help, level replayed itself after completion

This happens every now and then and is extremely frustrating. It causes me too lose lives as the level seems to up its difficulty, it said I completed it with three stars but they aren't visable. Likely due to the level replaying itself.

Also just want to note that I have more than once accidentally ended up buying 5 more moves. Why is there no confirmation on this? 10 goldbars gone in a heartbeat.
