Yesterday I was taken back to level one - I have tried all the advice posted here, incl. deleting app, restarting, disconnecting etc. I’ve contacted Candy Crush but here’s the thing…
I will go the latter route if I really have to - but before I do that and have a quiet breakdown in the corner, does anyone have anything else I can try please?

If you didn't have your game saved on any King or Facebook account, then Player Support will help you to restore your game. Just make sure the game is connected to a King or Facebook account first before emailing them from the game so they can restore the game on your game account.
Thanks @Crazy Cat Lad. I have contacted them but they don’t have the level I reached (weird because of the reasons stated in my first post) AND despite them saying they can restore a level, I’ll lose all the rest of my high score history and all my items. So they are giving me an option, but it’s not restoring like for like - I would have just thought all of that is linked to my saved profile 😢

I am very sorry that you have this problem in the game. From the Community we can only offer you the help that you have already found. It occurs to me that this could be a temporary failure, but having uninstalled the application before solving it, it has worsened, since uninstalling the game never solves problems and causes a lot of data, boosters, etc. to be lost.
As a suggestion, I would try these steps again before opting for manual restore.
-check updates for both the game and the browser.
- Sign off
- clear cache
- reboot device
- login and play any level.
If necessary exit and re-enter the game We will pray that it returns to normal 🙏 Otherwise you can only request your level manually.

I had followed all the advice here, including someone else who had said reinstalling the app (which I tried after everything else - including contacting CC, so their status was regardless of reinstalling the app). I’m confused why that would worsen though given my profile is saved - I’ve logged in and out many times and to different phones in the past and never lost levels or history as it’s been synced on my profile. I was just hoping someone else might have an idea that hasn’t previously been posted, but it looks like I’ve tried everything people have to suggest. Maybe this is all just a sign that I should give it up and get on with my life without Candy Crush!
Sure heaven, it is always saved and there should be no problem in leaving and logging in, by that I mean it must have been something momentary; I already know that you have tried all those steps, that's why I said try it one last time, you no longer have anything to lose for one last attempt.
