Why are there ads now allowed to NOT be closed -- I have lost numerous bonuses!

I don't mind watching ads to get bonuses. But in the last week or so, ads have come up that don't have the X option to close. They freeze up the game and I have to backspace on my phone or close the game entirely to finish playing. I have been in the midst of a chance for a bonus and have lost it. This has happened a number of times when I've needed JUST that bonus to win the level. Anyone else having this problem? How can we tell Candy Crush to stop this advertising ploy? I will NEVER order anything from any of these companies using this tactic. And if it continues, I will quit playing altogether. I've worked my way to level 4826, so that would make me sad. But this is B.S. !

Hi Rhonda the issue of adverts causing people's games to crash is over a year old now. so don't expect a fix anytime soon. In my experience the issue comes and goes, so if you don't mind your game crashing every now and again it is still worth playing the adverts for extra moves when you have failed a level, or for additional boosters. I say this because in these instances even of your game crashes you haven't actually lost anything.

I'm having the same problem. It's after I fail a game and the free moves are offered (2-1-2). Black screen, just a symbol that takes me to an ad policy or something. But no way to get back to the game. And it seems it's almost always when the 5 free moves probably would have resulted in me winning the level ☹️

Similar issue. I am served a Firestone Direct ad over and over and over (it's easily 90% of the ads I've gotten today) and it does not offer any way to x out of it after it runs. The only way to exit the ad is to fill out and submit a form, which will take you to the game WITHOUT giving you any reward. I've reported it several times, but nothing changes. I'm about to delete the game from my phone - it's infuriating.
