Hi
When I get to the end of a very hard level I get a pop up saying something like "84% of players needed a boost on this level" and then the option to purchase some boosters.
My question is, did 84% of players need A booster to finish the level, or that particular booster offer ? IE. Does the 84% statistic also include players who use their own boosters to complete a very hard level as well as those players who took up the booster offer in the pop up ?
Thanks
Nak
Hi @Nak3D I found that discussion I was thinking of and I have changed my mind. I think the 84% just indicates how many people have used boosters to pass a particular level.
Have a look at the discussion linked below and see what you think.
@Carol-38 you might like to read it too as apparently no level should take more than twenty attempts on average. 😂
Apologies, I can never get the hang of how to do screenshots :P
I'm surprised you have not seen this pop-up - it happens after every "very hard level", without fail ;) "X% of players needed a boost to complete this level" and then there is the offer.
Perhaps someone else knows how to take a screenshot....or you can reference it in other ways ?

I think they are called Odus levels Nak as it is Odus the Owl that makes the offers.
I get these annoying pop-ups as well and have never given them much thought, but that is a good question you have asked.
I am sure that I remember a level designer writing on here that King don't know when people have used boosters to complete a level, so if that is correct it would mean that 84% people bought something to complete the level.
Please note that buying any package does not guarantee that you will complete a level
@LindQ if you are still around would you know the answer to this question?
Interesting, although I find it hard to believe that so many people paid to complete those levels. I think it is indeed the owl levels that I mean and I've had that pop-up a good few times, but personally never needed those boost packages...yet ;)
Thanks for the replies and while they don't conclusively answer the question they do help. But I would still like to find out if King know whether we have used a booster (or not) to finish a level ;)

If King are monitoring how a level plays and whether it's too hard then they must know if a player has used a booster or not, simply to show if that particular level is beatable without boosters ! How else could they adjust a level to be playable otherwise ?!
So yep, I think the quote used in the pop-up "X% of players needed a boost on this level" refers to the players own boosters as well as the paid for ones in the offer.
Which makes the pop-up entirely misleading.
