I've used zero lives until this evening and went to add my first 5 lives, but it shows a count down of over 5 hours?
It's not a glitch. They have changed the counter so that it starts at 20/20 and when you use a life, it gets subtracted and the count goes down. Basically, reverse of what it was.

So, we have a new update regarding the lives issue you have been reporting. A couple of days ago they changed the lives by adding a timer, so you can see how long you have until you can use new lives. Additional to that we have changed the way the lives are counted down. Before it counted upwards from 0 to 20 and with the latest update it now counts downwards from 20 to 0. (check the image for reference).
Do you think this is clear enough or was it easier to understand before the new update?

The timer will only appear after the daily limit is reach, which is something you have already got use too.
The timer is only a visual representation that will allow you to know how much time you have to wait to be able to accept lives again.
During the implementation of this feature there was an issue that prevented the normal claiming of lives. The studio already fixed the issue and you should be able to claim lives normally.

I have been getting the same thing about the lives I am on a really difficult level and I can’t pass it because of what happened to the lives system is going on for the game 😤😐
I don't think there is a fix....it's probably a new thing implemented by the company.
updated my computer and lost levels on computer and my phone is synced so also lost on it should be at level 2274 or above

Dieser Timer ist eine Frechheit! Erst die 20 Leben und nun das. Dabei sind die Level jenseits der 12000 schon fast nicht mehr zu schaffen, ohne Hilfsmittel. Wenn sie jetzt unverschämt werden, bin ich raus!
I am in the same boat. i play in the UK and by the time it says I can reload my lives I will be in bed!

My thoughts exactly!! If I am accepting lives that my friends have given me, it should be when I am in the mood to play and not when they are telling me to.

This is ridiculous! First they limit how many lives you can have...now you're limiting even how often you can get that...24 hrs wasn't long enough? You've made it impossible to play and win any of the challenges. smh

I know that you can accept only 20 lives per day, but now there is a timer there. Mine says that I can't accept any of my lives for 16 hrs.

I had a modest amount of lives stored--they come in handy on the really difficult levels. I ALWAYS check the box to send lives to my friends.
Currently I am stuck on a very difficult level and you decided to take my 20 lives away.
What is the incentive for me to continue?

Will my lives be restored? I send lives DAILY and rarely get them from some of my friends. Some of my friends don't even KNOW I am a friend (by seeing me on their list.)
I understand the idea of that the company is trying to do, but it deters me from purchasing “bonuses”. And if I’m j a race it’s frustrating that I can only use so many in a 24 hr time.
This doesn’t make sense to me because if you can’t use your lives and there’s no reason to buy win 20 minute reward’s because you can’t play them without lives. I can’t see any reason to spend money to get anything because it’s useless without lives. I’m just not seeing the reason to limiting the lives you use?
I am not happy with only being able to use 20 lives within 5-6 hrs! I used to buy power ups but will no longer be doing so because of this
I have over 900 lives accumulated but today they wont work…i suddenly can only play the lives that accumulate over a time period. What gives? Because of this i lost the opportunity to win the weekly race and will potentially lose the race Im in. Is this a glitch?

This is a TERRIBLE addition to the game. I buy boosters and the time runs out before I can even use them. You make the new levels so hard it takes 20 lives to pass it, then don’t give access to the lives we receive from our friends. This affects everything in the later levels and is really unacceptable!! You keep making up new rules like this and you will, over time lose all your loyal players! 🤬
Anyone else noticed a change to their Inbox lives limit. Similar to most people I have been restricted to 20 extra lives a day for nearly a year. Yesterday I noticed that the time limit for new lives is no longer 24 hours.
Is this a 'test', or have other people seen this change as well?
It did used to reset at midnight didn't it? The screnshot was taken 17:39 in the evening.

This is what I see in my inbox, @Alienscar. Pressed the counter for more details and left it visible, as I also expected to see something like "resets at midnight" but nah. 🤔

Thanks @Kerrie, still just the 20/20 then. To be honest I am not sure why they have added a timer. I much preferred 0/20 as it is plain enough to understand.

You are not wrong. This last five days or so my Candy Royale is changing every day from 7 levels to 8 and to 9. Sometimes it is changed twice in a day. Luckily I can still X out of it.
That screenshot is interesting Pavlin as resetting every six hours after midnight would mean people can potentially receive 60 lives in a 24 hour period. Have you used all of your 20 lives recently?
I wonder if this is King's idea of a fix for all the complaints about restricted lives.
