Hi and Welcome to the King Community
Try with the following on both devices:
-Make sure the app is up to date
-Log out from your King or Facebook account in the game
-Force close the game app
-Restart the device
-Open the game and log in back to your Facebook or King account

I would sign in to Facebook with your current device and play a few levels. Then go ahead and sync your game to the new iPhone. Just remember you will probably lose any saved lives and boosters when you transfer your game from your current phone to the new phone. However once you start playing via FB (or a King.com account), your progress and any purchases you may make will be saved on the King servers so they can be restored by customer support if needed.
