So does that mean there won't be no more MOM any more because if that's the case there probably won't be no more me either because I have been trying for the past year now but since I don't have any friends that play in the community I will never see it

I like that suggestion, nice idea! Personally I would not find any in-game rewards of any benefit because I prefer to remain anonymous, i.e. I keep my accounts in the community and in the game separate. But being nominated by other players and moderators is so special, I think that is a reward in itself.

Appreciate all your thoughts and ideas and just as a reminder - there is already available a member of the month for the whole community award.

I understand how nominations by players could potentially be skewed by having a bunch of friends nominate someone and how having some standards/goals to be met could be helpful.

Keep those suggestions coming and with your help/ideas, we will try and come up with a better/revised way to recognize players' contributions to the CCS community!

Hi @QueenB. It's a good idea to rethink this, as there are currently no guidelines or criteria for receiving such an award. I think players are accused of favouritism when they are really nominating players with whom they have had contact and don't look at the wider picture. The guidelines would need to.include by whom these players are to be nominated and in what grounds.

I don't think an annual award is a good idea, as players come and go quite a lot and someone would need to monitor the year-long process. However, a monthly or quarterly award with gold bars and/or boosters for the following three months might be much more achievable.

A special.badge and title are a possibility, but I think that it would have to be retroactive to include all.previous winners of the award. However, if such a title were given, it would, in fairness, have to be applied to all previous Members of the Month and winners of the equivalent awards in other games. This then creates the problem of multiple titles, which it has always been the intention to avoid.

I shall be interested to hear the outcome.

I also like the idea of an added "avatar" or symbol next to the community name...like where it says "pro player"... maybe getting a simple thing that symbolizes they've received the reward.🤗

I love all of this! The members and moderators in this community are incredible! And I'm sure whoever receives either of those titles would be honored with any of those. 🤗

Hi @QueenB another idea is to have the CM's and Moderators select/nominate 3 community members and the community votes for who they like. Maybe that can address the favoritism issue a bit.

I agree with @greddycandy .

Moderators who have a broader view of how community members interact could make nominations. The most welcome rewards for those who win are the Gold bars and a special emblem that highlights the title obtained.
