Why does my game look like this? The candies don’t match and I have no idea what is supposed to be what. Please help!

It is the glitch caused by the "redesigned candies" that were brought in for the Candy Cup event!!
To get out of that glitch, please follow these steps --> Quit the level you have opened -- Close the game App -- Shutdown your device and restart after few minutes -- reopen the App -- open a level and you should find the candies in normal shapes and design☺️
For some players, it is not working until they follow these steps couple of times!!

Sorry about that everyone 😬 this happens everytime we're changing a new candy look, but restarting the game app should solve the issue and we're working on making sure this doesn't keep happening in the future ☺️
This happened in my game this morning, but then it went away. It's back to normal, it must have been a problem that was already fixed, at least in my game
Same here! Level 11552. Everything is distorted and things are moving that shouldn't.
This happens every time they switch the special candies, in this case autumn leaves to bats. It can easily be avoided if the developers force the cache when they release the change. I'm pretty sure there is no qa group looking at the releases or it would have been caught and fixed on the night of the release.
It's a glitch. It's not deliberate! Close the App, restart your device. Open the app. See if that will fix it.

What’s going on today with edge icons. Game’s going crazy
Went to play this am and didn’t have any info about the changes being made to boards. Having hard time figuring out what goes to what. Not liking the changed
I am in higher level today the icons changed and can’t know how to play so different to match’s the color
Anybody else hate the new theme? What’s with the swirl candy and when you make a stripe candy it shows the opposite direction of the stripe. It’s like the coding for the game isn’t done right. I have three of the same color yet it didn’t explode.

The Monday Morning Glitch is back. Close the App. Update the App. Reopen the App. That ought to fix it.
Yep, that sounds like the "Monday morning glitch" phenomenon to me..... You'll all have to force close the game and open it again. Usually that fixes it.

force closing does not work. 15 hours and still messed up graphics. Cannot play properly when you cannot see what the candies really are.

I can tell you from experience that the basic troubleshooting steps do work.
Please follow all these steps --> Exit from your level -- close the App -- shutdown your device and turn it back on after few minutes -- reopen the App and try your level again.
If it doesn't work in your game, please post back along with a screenshot.

This is what my graphics looked like. A strip+wrapped candy and a Swedish fish were wasted at the beginning because I wasn’t expecting a glitch to happen.
October 27 and my game is still doing this even when I force close the app. Has been happening a couple of days now. Lost a lot of lives due to this. Hope it gets fixed soon.
What on earth am I seeing here? I've been playing this level for a week or so now, (without success!!)

I had same issue. It helped to close Candy Crush and restart again.
@ kiara_wael Definitely a glitch.... it suggests you move "empty blocks" and "circle blocks"?? Hopefully the CM can pass this on with the pictures....
Lost a few lives trying to play as i hoped it would correct itself after restarting the game.... no luck.

What is going on with this game lately?? I just redeemed stuff from the convertor, got 15 min of life play from one of the bonus things and I go to play and the board is all screwed up again. Weird shapes , misplaced things (half in and half out of boxes) etc?? I can't use the "free" stuff I got because the board is messed up. This is happening way too often! What is going on??
I have had that happen a few times. Go out of the game all the way to Facebook, then go back in, that should fixe it.
The graphics keep messing up and I can’t see what I’m doing! I tried playing last night and today and they’re still too messed up to match anything.

The reason for the confusing graphics is the "redesigned" candies for the Candy Cup event!!
Whenever you encounter this issue, all you have to do is --> quit the level -- close the App -- shutdown your device and restart after few minutes -- reopen the App and try the level again.
The glitch won't bother you again👍️

Ummm I’ve force quit multiple times and my screen looks crazy on 2 different iPads. I don’t even have a wat to match these .. help
