Hello dear @bearwithme🤗
For the past 20 years, it has become kind of a tradition for my family to stay home and watch the "ball drop" on TV.
But, in 2019 new year's eve (just before the Pandemic hit), my daughter invited her best friends for sleepover. It was nice to see those girls laugh, talk , me cooking my special dishes for them... it was a change for once and a nice memory!
my memory is my nephew being born on July 19th
My fondest memories of new years is when I was younger I would host a big new years party and all my family and friends would gather and we would watch the ball drop and countdown we would all then take a turn telling our new years resolution and what our best memory of the old year was it was always a blessing just to be with family and friends it seems in this day and time family and friends don't gather or spend time together like in the older days I really miss that 😪
We don't have any special memories as they are always the same lol. But we spend it quietly.
When is was a little kid (back n the late 1980’s and early 1990’s) my mother would make a good dinner 4 me, my brother and dad 4 New Year’s Eve.🎊🍱☕✨
Every year I'm sleeping at home at midnight before the New Year, so no fondest memory for me.
I enjoy a quiet evening, though that is near impossible because there is always something happening in the neighborhood. 🎉
As usual, I plan to be at home in bed and fast asleep (I hope) when the clock strikes twelve - until I'm woken up by the loud noise of local firework displays.
My fondest memories are with my parents at my early years
I will be doing the usual at my age and sleeping as 2024 arrives 😴
