Back in the day, we always used to go and watch the firework display in Central London and experience Big Ben chiming at midnight before catching the (free!!!) Tube home...those were the days...

Nowadays, I'm always fast asleep, get briefly woken at midnight by the fireworks, go back to sleep and the next thing I know, it's the morning of January 1st!

How times have changed!
