Welcome to the Candy Crush Saga Community
Do you have a question or need help with your game? Ask the Community.
Thank you. πππ Im sure a lot are hesitant on posting names. Letβs keep up this spirit of being helpful with or without rewards.
I agree with the concept of @lelensp idea. @QueenB how about creating a Newbie Corner where our newest members can go and request help? Seasoned members could assist as available or according to our knowledge or expertise. And NO rewards for offering kindness. As tempting as those beautiful badges are, I'm begining to feel like we're a bunch of used car salesman, jumping on potential clients. ,( no offense to any car salesman here in the community) Also I'm wondering how many newbies would feel that people are only helping them because they are 'paid' to help.
I acknowledge the necessity of the program, although I am disheartened by the sole motivation of receiving gold bars. What genuine effect are we making on newcomers? I intend no disrespect whatsoever! While I appreciate receiving gold bars as acknowledgment for my contributions to the community, I prefer not to keep a tally. Only the opinion of one!!
The ultimate goal is to warmly welcome and guide newcomers as they navigate the community. It's essential for more individuals to actively reach out to new members instead of passively waiting for them to find us out of frustration. Personally, I plan to begin each day by browsing the hub to identify newbies who have not yet received a proper welcome.
Yes @rebelchild Thread for newbies asking for help is a great idea. As for me no need of gold rewards.
I'll volunteer as well
@rebelchild and @Ibnana thanks for the good spirit.
The more I am motivated to help having people like you around.
There's that awesomeness I strive to bring out in people!!! We can rally some more players to join us don't you agree? Nice to have friendly positive players willing to help others!! πβ¨ππβ¨π
Hi @rebelchild glad you're still around helping others, shame King did away with the private messaging. I think what you've suggested sounds really good but would a newcomer to the Community know where to look for that special corner, it is all very confusing when joining. I also agree about why are rewards being offered @QueenB members of the Community have been helping very nicely without expecting a reward. Let's face it many that join the Community are doing so because that's what they are told to do when contacting Player Support for help. And most of the problems they contacted Support about are things that King need to update/put right or implement into the game. I won't list what I mean as so much feedback on different things has already been given and quite often ignored. And no rebelchild, I'm not a car salesman βΊοΈ
@QueenB π I'm doing my silly tagging again can't delete
@rebelchild we had a beginner's corner that was created when this community first opened. It was called Candy Crush Saga Beginner's Corner. There were 4 of us Superstars in charge of it. I can't remember all 4 Superstars but I know it was @bearwithme, I think it was @Glenn1972, me and I can't remember the 4th. It was very successful but it was closed down without an explanation. Perhaps he/she thought that it wasn't getting enough attention. Maybe @bearwithme can help me with some details of the things that we offered. I know that I had created lists to explain the boosters and blockers for all new game players.
@Carol-38 I appreciate what you wrote here. Really, really appreciate it. We do have to remember that we all have different personalities, different cultures and different needs and wants. The community was very, very active at one time but then people started writing negative and the community went silent. Please guys, I totally understand your need to defend but as Carol wrote, we are all here to help each other, game wise! This message has been posted with good intentions. It's great that so many feel that they don't need rewards because they came to help and offer support for game issues. But please everyone, let's please stay on track!
