Hello, it's me again.
I'm getting fed up with all of the "Edited by CM: Oops! Please repost in English so everyone can understand - Ourย House Rulesย " here in the forums.
Firstly, people who don't speak English are also worthwhile players of Candy Crush and deserve some respect, and to be welcomed into our community, rather than having their messages deleted.
Secondly when the CM replaces the original message of a newbie by the above, then that newbie has zero chance of finding their own post when they come back here to check if anyone has replied. ZERO chance! How are they even supposed to know that they need to repost in English? Since about a third of all newbie posts are now in foreign language, with another third struggling with the language I am not sure this community ever can truly welcome the majority of players who turn to it. It has become a community for the English speaking elite. Until the way it is policed is to be more inclusive, count me out on trying to help newbies, because I find the exercise totally pointless. Newbies never come back to even check our replies.
@christinewupp I totally agree with everything you said. These people aren't coming back.
Maybe, just maybe, if King (aka Microsoft) would set up a translator on this app instead of redirecting them, maybe we could help them.
It IS absolutely ridiculous. They don't understand your "oops" message as they don't speak English!
Just my 2 cents.
We need the TRANSLATE button for all areas of the community.
LLevei 647,help me,please.
So why has this newbie's post been made "read only". Just because they are from Pakistan???

I agree with you 100% @christinewupp and the other thing that isn't helpful, is when someone replies to the person in their language and also shows the English version, and the post is then changed to 'Discussion has been closed' and read only. So if the person replied to wants to post again in English, they can't just pop it at the bottom of their original post, they have to start all over again. Maybe @QueenB might be able to give some thought to all of this and change it for the better.
Hello and welcome! You can start helping at any time, but I am afraid you will have to write in English. Other languages will get deleted.
Thanks for pointing that out @christinewupp I will definitely refer people needing that area of help to you. I'm glad you are able to help
