hi king . So I have been playing the all starts games and I qualified to the 2nd knockout round which will be on the 12th this Friday. So I am from Zambia but currently in danmark I came here for visiting and going back in September… so I wanted to find out if I still should continue with the game or should I stop? Because Zambia is not a participating country but danmark is I think .. so what should I do? Should I still continue to play or I should stop?

    Personally I think you should stop @nate3570.

    The T&Cs say this:

    To be eligible to play in the final a player must be normally resident in the United Kingdom, United States of America, Brazil, Canada, Germany, France, Italy, the Netherlands, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Norway, Denmark, Austria, Ireland, Finland, Poland, Romania, Czechia, Greece, or Portugal;

    I have highlighted what I think the relevant part of the T&Cs are for you. Because you are visiting Denmark then this means you are not normally resident in Denmark, so if you get to complete the in-game contact form you will be automatically disqualified when you tell King that you are a resident of Zambia, or they see your passport details.

    Hello @nate3570 There was a report in this community from another person who was resident in the European Community and even made it to the finals of All Stars in 2023 but King withdrew their invite to London because this player had a foreign passport requiring a visa to enter the UK. Therefore you will find yourself in the same position: If your passport is from Zambia then you will need a visa to attend the live finals in Los Angeles. Please be aware of this and I would recommend you just keep playing the competition for fun but don't expect to get invited to the grand final should you succeed to go all the way.

    Hi and Welcome to the King Community

    Thank you for the feedback. Should you get to the Live Final you'll need to:

    ✈️ Travel to California in June 2024

    📄 Have valid travel documents

    💰 Have a bank account in your country of residence

    I have this same question! I’m a resident in Switzerland which allows me to play, but I’m traveling to Cyprus during the tournament, which isn’t on the list. But I’m still a Swiss resident.
    If programming is based in current IP, I won’t be able to play. If it’s based on App Store, I will be.

    Did you get an answer?

    Hello @Nicetomeetyou yours is a funny situation I would say. As you are a resident of Switzerland then this makes you eligible to play. As you can see I have highlighted the relevant part of the T&Cs above. 'Normally resident' implies that you can be some place other than your normal country of residence and still be eligible for the All Stars. In other words what counts is your nationality.

    What I can't be sure on is whether or not King will arrange travel for you from a country other than where you normally reside.

    My guess is that they will as other why use the 'normally resident' bit of the wording, but that is just my guess.

    thank you for the reply to everyone that replied to me I appreciate it. I wanted to say that king it’s abit unfair that only selected countries get to participate in the tournament..when candy crush itself is played world wide, the tournament should have been open to everyone that plays the game and not just selected countries. I was actually very excited and looking forward to the 2nd knockout but I just found that that I am not qualified… and I have invested so much in this tournament and was really looking forward this all this fun. I am very sad 😔 about this.

Hey! Would you like to give us your opinion?
