This happened to me a few days ago wait until tomorrow.
Same thing happening here, for the last week or so. About the same time the new royal path has been there.
Many players are complaining of the ads crashing the game. The studio will need to take a look at it when they come back to work Monday.

Please be informed that the feature that you mentioned is a test feature. Usually, test/temporary feature is only made available to certain group of players and it may not be stable. This feature may also disappear after a while.
Nevertheless, I hope you have tried the simple troubleshooting tips as suggested by our Ms Kiara and Mr Aijaziqbal above. I hope you have other events in your game that you are able to earn boosters such as Fantastic Five, Skull Tower/Hallowed Tower (ending soon), Magic Season (ending in about 2 days), booster wheels, daily win and etc. besides watching the said video 😊
Special events/challenges as mentioned above temporary feature that are being rolled out by King to different players from time to time to ensure that the players have different gaming experience. Thus, please continue playing and enjoy the events that have been made available to you at the moment and stay tune for other new events/challenges being introduced to you any time throughout the game.

I can’t close the video of the Real Pasta ad.
The close button is not showing, even if I rotate the screen.
To get rid of the video, I need to close and reopen the candy crush app.

Check if your Candy crush game is updated to the latest version and check if you have enough space of at least 2GB free on Storage or SD.
If done so try to log out and try restarting your device open game and log back in to the game. See if this helps.
