There is a player that asks me for multiple lives daily. He/She has been aggravating me with this since the summer. There are times that I receive up to 29 requests per day. This is a form of harassment and I will discontinue playing Candy Crush if this is not resolved. The player's username is granney. Please help.

There a easy way to avoid these message or notification, so you don't need block or unfriend anyone
Go facebook setting > notifications > click on facebook > app request & activity > candy crush saga > turned off
If you are playing in another place you will just have to ignore them.

If someone plays a lot, he needs a lot of lives. The purpose of the game is to help friends and get help. So I don't understand why you feel harassed. It's part of the game. I have several thousand inquiries every day and I receive many. These can be sent with a few clicks. Or you ignore them

Hi @flakycrusy 😉As already mentioned above, notifications can be turned off through Facebook settings.
By following the steps below, you can get rid of notifications regarding live requests.
This option is for notification only, so there will be no problem with Lives Exchange.
Open Facebook Setting - Notifications - Other Notifications - Turn Off.

Understood that you are feeling annoyed in receiving lives from unknown players. Based on your description, it seems like you are playing via King.com. If this is correct, you get random players' requests as well as those in your list.
Therefore, there is no other way to unblock them except to either ignore them or select all requests and reply once. The second options may deter them from sending you further request as they only receives 1 life even if you have selected all their requests and send them.
