Most, if not all, of the special features in Candy Crush are delivered to players' in a random fashion. That is, not every player will get all of the available features and some players' might not get any. Even if you do get assigned a special feature like the adverts this does not mean that you will get to keep them though, and you might find them unexpectedly disappearing.
If you have had adverts in your game and now find that they have disappeared this random delivery/removal method employed by King could be the reason.
It could just be you have a temporary technical error. Try the standard troubleshooting techniques of clearing your cache and logging in and out whilst rebooting your device.
Lastly if you have recently purchased anything through your Shop then the theory is that this would have removed your adverts.

Hi all,
Following a couple of years break from the game decided to go back and start all over again with the aim of getting 3 stars on every level!
Things have changed a lot though, there used to be a forum where folks posted if they were happy for you to"friend" them for the purposes of the game - does this no longer exist with the invention of Candy Crush Friends?
Don't have many Facebook friends who will play these days (think I tired them out with my previous obsession) so looking for folks to play with ☺
Any advice gratefully received (or invites!)
