Main menu/ play button unresponsive - game freezing

Hi,

Since yesterday I can't get this game to load on my tablet. It has connected to Facebookbut when I press 'Play' I just get a green rotating square in the centre of the screen - this never seems to stop, possibly the game is trying to do something. Tried clearing cache etc and rebooting tablet . Seems to have just happened since yesterday.

Hi same here game played ok last night but since upgrade play button just non functional but only on my very old iPad 2 (3rd Gen 2012) which works perfectly well but Apple won't update the iOS above 9 which will finally result in a redundant iPad so did think this was the issue.

No, it's an Android device. It's running Candy Crush version 1.209.2.1

It doesn't seem to crash - just gets a green rotating square displaying and never moves on.

Hi I can’t get past the play screen on candy crush. Have been playing for years and on level 2133!! Please help!

All of a sudden, Candy Crush has stopped loading on my tablet. It gets as far as the opening screen with the 'Play' and 'My Account' buttons. When I press 'Play', the screen darkens and a spinning circle appears and never goes away (see picture). The Android system on my tablet is 4.4.4. I have already uninstalled and reinstalled Candy Crush on the tablet and it hasn't made any difference. My progress is saved on Facebook. Any advice on what else I could try gratefully received!
