Well level 10188 is an absolute bore, is it not? Oh, the joy of no Episode Races and then spending over 48 hours experiencing a Groundhog existence with 8 Gold Bars and the inventory below. To then read about further stinkers to come, such as 10198, 10200, 10213 and 10216, just adds to the feelgood factor around Candy Crush right now.. Like many, I have no issue with very challenging levels that take skill, patience and a varied strategy to complete, but I do believe that all levels should ultimately be passable without incurring cost. For me, 10188 is a classic example of the levels that annoy me most - those that allow VERY limited options to be creative by locking you in with next to no room for manoeuvre right from the first move.
I really dislike moaning, but please take this feedback on board @LindQ and @Crazy Cat Lad. Maybe an adjustment of 5 more moves or a slight easing of the layers would still leave it 'Nightmarishly Hard', but not so tedious.
Well hang on better safe than sorry wouldn't you say.
The first Apollo mission killed all of the astronauts. Concorde killed 105 people and Formula 1 has killed 50 people. I for one am glad that King practice due diligence so I don't sprain a wrist or something using my Chocolate Box.
Got my lucky board for 10200, into the fourth episode now and there is no let up in slot machine levels, almost every one i have played has needed cascades in some form. Thankfully they have generally been quick coming.
10203 is the most enjoyable level so far.
Got to 10210 and thought i wouldn't use the UFO initially, i would save it for a bit later once the board has opened up a bit... but no, you either use it immediately or chocolate gobbles it up. No room for anything approaching tactical thinking in these levels. Such a disappointing collection this week. Quantity over quality for sure. The exact issue that is continually raised by many in these level threads, and continually ignored.
@Boybinary @Albert_Heinrich my episode race did not act as expected. Did the same as yours did @Boybinary. Thought I had screwed up. Not so sure about that. A week or two ago @Werner_Cichy mentioned something about perhaps different versions being out on some things. Perhaps this is one of those deals although the race appears to be the same. The race does act a little different when we get 4 episodes.
So, not worrying about the episode race was good for me. However, my candy necklace came back and I just cannot purposely make it stop. Wish I could make myself do that. Worrying about that necklace keeps me from looking at other things!
Another 11 episode for me to go. Oh Yeah!
10200 is harder than 10213.
10213 is Nightmarish, fair do. But is Super Hard easier than Nightmarish, or almost impossible ?
Putting that into some context, the layers are ridiculous in level 10200. Three Sour Skulls are just the beginning, and hardly the main trouble you will get. The Toffee Swirls (20...you got 26 allocated moves, remember) must come from the Magic Mixers and taken in that playing field which has no room to spare. Or from the dispensers in the top corners, which is a long way off. Finally, get your Toffee Swirls. Provided you made enough combos to get this requirement. Then maybe the time to make two Wrapped/wrapped combos to clear the revealed Magic Mixers and release the Rapids cannon....unless the all layers of Licorice Curls are cleared whilst tackling this complete mockery of what is supposed to be a tactical game ?
If not already stated by now, level 10200 needs reporting.
@John_58011 @Johnny_Crush I just completed level 10213 and I think it is awful, simply awful. My usual good attitude is melting away!
