Last year we went trick or treating but this year we cant go because of the covid

My favorite memory of Halloween happened 4 years ago. My then 4yo son wanted us to dress up as super heroes. He wanted his dad to be batman, me to be black widow and he wanted to be the hulk. got nice costumes for all three of us. So daddy is begrudgingly dressed as batman, I'm kicking butt as black widow, and our son? He wore khakis, a stained shirt and a hulk mask draped around his neck. Yup. I ate all his candy that year. Parenting win.

a couple of years my son dressed up as Krampus for Halloween, funny thing was we had to pick up my oldest from band practice, my son decided to wear the costume to the football field where the practice was going on... OMG, I've never seen teen boys and girls run so fast when my son came running up to them... one kid literally ran so fast and hopped over the fence

this year my husband changed up the horns to make it more scary... my son trying out the mask while doing homework

My favorite memory of Halloween was when I was 7 and these older kids stole my sisters bag of candy and my dad chased after them and got my sisters bag of candy back!!

As a kid we would dress up and walk for miles.....I'm sure by todays standards it really wasn't that far. Some of the houses would choose trick and we would have to do a trick for the treat. One house had a color television and would invite the kids in to watch for a while......latter in life said house ended up being my in-laws.
