Try with the following on both devices:
-Make sure the app is up to date
-Log out from your King or Facebook account in the game
-Force close the game app
-Restart the device
-Open the game and log in back to your Facebook or King account

I have deleted the application from iPad.
I have uploaded a profile picture from iPhone.
I have installed the game again to iPad.
I have logged in and confirmed that the profile picture updated.
But still levels are not synch.
Gold is synch.
Lives are not synch.
Mailbox is not synch.
