I have been having issues on Android for about a month. What's going on?
Its been a week now and still not connecting so I am unable to use my gold bars, using up boosters I dont want to use and failing levels I should be able pass. This morning, my daily booster (the big wheel you had to build up daily) has yet to appear and lives I had been gifted have disappeared.

I imagine it must be quite frustrating @lkhayden not being able to purchase something.
Unfortunately no one here can answer your question as we are all just Candy Crush players rather than people that know any technical details.
The people that can help (@Crazy Cat Lad, @Pounawea) don't seem to want to. That is, the support thread that posts like yours get moved to doesn't answer the question that everyone is asking. When will the issue be fixed? The support thread just acknowledges that there is a problem it doesn't provide a solution, or a timescale to fix the problem. This kind of 'support' isn't helpful as everyone knows there is an issue, but what everyone wants is a solution, or a date the solution will be provided.
Sorry that I can't offer you any real help with the issue.
