I've used zero lives until this evening and went to add my first 5 lives, but it shows a count down of over 5 hours?
It's not a glitch. They have changed the counter so that it starts at 20/20 and when you use a life, it gets subtracted and the count goes down. Basically, reverse of what it was.

So, we have a new update regarding the lives issue you have been reporting. A couple of days ago they changed the lives by adding a timer, so you can see how long you have until you can use new lives. Additional to that we have changed the way the lives are counted down. Before it counted upwards from 0 to 20 and with the latest update it now counts downwards from 20 to 0. (check the image for reference).
Do you think this is clear enough or was it easier to understand before the new update?

The timer will only appear after the daily limit is reach, which is something you have already got use too.
The timer is only a visual representation that will allow you to know how much time you have to wait to be able to accept lives again.
During the implementation of this feature there was an issue that prevented the normal claiming of lives. The studio already fixed the issue and you should be able to claim lives normally.
same here! do u have a timer ticking down ? its going down from 2 hrs and 28 minutes is that how long we have to wait to claim anymore lives? I havent claimed any today, just the 5 beginning ones.
Why did you change this. I have a feeling there are going to be a lot of people who leave the game with these kind of restrictions. So what is the purpose where you have numbers on the left/200 on the right.
I have 200 hundred lives and only used five today. Why have they now limited it to five?
the game is getting boring since no lives to use and also the choc box is horrible you use your 5 lives and wow you get 20 minutes of something instead of bars that we can use.
Same here. The 20 life limit usually resets at midnight. This morning there was a 16 hour timer that showed up, and I can't use any of my extra lives. Argh! If you want to drive people away from playing your game, this is a great way to do it, King Games!
countdown to free lives showing 23 hrs despite me claiming them ages ago, they should have reset at midnight (1 hr ago) but still can't play

I can't use my lives from friends either and also have the freeze problem when I fail at Candy Royale.

I too cannot access my 20 lives from friends. This game is getting very annoying.
I've been unable to access my extra lives from friends. That just started happening today. It's so annoying. I can send lives but can't get lives. King doesn't seem to have any solutions for this issue in their blog. I did all the basics, i.e., log out, reboot, and/or wait.
I dont see a way of contacting friends on my friends list. How can they send me a message and vs versa?
I can send lives but I can't receive them anymore. What's up with that? Makes me made!!!!

I can't claim mine,,click the dang thing and it does nothing ...My map doesn't work either ,,I have to keep refreshing

in my weekly contest it is not recording my progress. It says I have only won 5 levels this week and I’ve actually won like 7 episodes. I have played at least 150 levels this week. I am Nikki #8 on the list
