I get an error message regarding connection problem, try later. Nothing I do seems to fix it. When I try to go to my Daily Wheel update, I get an error message saying I need to restart. Nothing I do seems to fix it. All this started when I upgraded to a new iPad. HELP!!
Hi @JLN51 warm welcome. I am sorry that you are getting this error message. What account are you connected to and what platform are you playing on?
Generally it helps if you do the sclosing of the app.
I also recently bought a new device and sometimes got the error message as well. I just closed the app, closed all apps, and re-entered Candy Crush Sage. Then I was able to log in with my account (King account with email and password). I know there are problems right now if a Facebook account is used. Facebook is very unstable and I do not use it.
Please keep trying. I hope for your success.
Thank you for playing Candy Crush.
I cannot seem to connect to my account on my iPhone. As I said, I get an error message of a connection error and to try again later. I am trying to correct the game on my iPhone iOS 16.4.1 and my Candy Crush Saga is version 1.250.0.2. I seem to have all my options available to me on my iPad. I really need help!
Helloes,
Were you playing the game on your iPhone before? Do you have many boosters stored there? If you do, then you should only reinstall as a last resort, otherwise your boosters will be gone.
There's a newer version of the app for Android - 1.251.1.1 from the other day. Check if it's available to you too, although this shouldn't really be causing the connection issue.
Have you tried resetting your network settings? For your device, you can do it like that:
1. Open the settings app on your iPhone
2. Then go to General > Transfer or Reset iPhone > Reset > Reset Network Settings. If your iPhone is running iOS 14 or earlier, go to Settings > General > Reset > Reset Network Settings.
3. You will then be prompted to enter your iPhone pin to confirm that you would like to reset your network settings
4. If your iPhone doesn’t automatically restart turn it off and then turn it back on.
5. Reconnect and enter your wireless username and password once again for your local network or preferred wireless hotspot
Bear in mind the following:
A network reset is not the same as a hard reset and will not delete everything from your iPhone. Or returning it to the same state as you received it when you took it out-of-the-box. It will only delete your network settings and Bluetooth connections.
By carrying out this reset your iPhone will remove any Wi-Fi networks and passwords, cellular settings, and VPN and APN settings for any services that you have used previously.
Hope this helps.
Good luck! ✌
Thanks. I have tried everything and nothing works. Even upgraded my iPhone system today and the Candy Crush game updated this morning as well. Still same problem. I feel so helpless. I have played Candy Crush on my iPhone for many years up until now. Have many boosters accumulated that I do not want to lose. However, I guess I will have to just give up and quit playing.
