After that I reinstall the game ,clear cache or restart the phone but isn't work
I agree with @Doondie create another account and hopefully you'll get the race in that account.
Yes the game goes on without you. Recorded times are used for the race.
I make sure I have enough time to finish or at least get most of the episode race done or I don't play on my main account. The episode race actually works in my main account.
I have this same problem in another account. I contacted support, they basically said they know there's a problem but don't know why it's happening. They did say it can happen if you change the date/time and there's nothing they can do.
This is why if I don't have time to complete an episode race which works in main account I will play in my second where it doesn't matter because I'm always in last place.
This is my opinion: I don't think this is a priority to fix since it's better for them if it doesn't work. It forces us to buy the boosters and gold when needed.🤷

At this point, it's unlikely your game will ever get fixed. I'd suggest you created a new King account, as right now your main source of gold bars is broken beyond repair. Right, @Kerrie? 😬

Thanks for the answering but I doesn't stop playing after the one or two games . That screenshot is clicked as soon as race starts
It seems if you start a new episode but stop after the first or second game then quit playing for awhile then come back ,the episode race apparently goes on without you and then when you trigger the race prompt you are already behind. Seems like a glitch in the game. Has happened to me many times. So not sure there is anything you can do about it except to move through that episode race without a significant time delay.

Why are the sour skulls not working as they usually do? I was just playing level 13990 and the sour skulls wouldn't activate after they've been touched by a candy nor after a wrapped candy exploded. It cost me my episode race and streak. Why is CC getting so glitchy?
Since 3-4 days ago, I am unable to log in with my facebook account. Yes, I tried everything that I could find online, all the helps and tricks, but it still doesn't work. Probably lost 10 years of progress and about 12000 levels… I am fuming… Whatever I do, I get this message…

this level opens and immediately says you lost the level with zero moves made. I believe there’s a glitch in this level. It’s been happening for two days.
