Hi Cyndi, I truly wish that I could wave a magic wand over that stupid challenge and get rid of it but it' s not that easy. I thank you very much for writing what you just wrote. The studio monitors these challenges and, unfortunately some players are playing it and winning so I don't know if they have collected enough data from players writing here complaining about it and wanting it off the game.

I have the same issue. I don’t want to play the stupid buddy challenge. It won’t let me play the game/allow me to go around it. I hate to delete the game but don’t feel I should be forced to play something I don’t want.Hi Cyndi, I truly wish that I could wave a magic wand over that stupid challenge and get rid of it but it' s not that easy. The response from King is inaccurate. Players are playing it because we have no option to continue playing candy crush without playing the buddy challenge.
