This is breaking GDPR rules in Europe yet King continue to force this on us - I don't want to be paired with people I have blocked in facebook - its complete rubbishHi Cyndi, I truly wish that I could wave a magic wand over that stupid challenge and get rid of it but it' s not that easy. I thank you very much for writing what you just wrote. The studio monitors these challenges and, unfortunately some players are playing it and winning so I don't know if they have collected enough data from players writing here complaining about it and wanting it off the game.

Elsa I went to this link to opt out and it says "Page not found" I too hate the buddy challenge. You click the X and it still makes you do it. No way around it. I too may uninstall. So aggravating!0

If the rewards and fun of the Buddy Challenge aren't something that appeals to you, don't worry - you can switch this feature off.
To do this, take the following steps on a mobile device.
- Open Candy Crush Saga
- Before tapping 'Play', tap the pink gearwheel in the lower left corner
- Tap the green wheel button to open the Settings menu
- Scroll down the menu until you see the green check-mark topic 'Features' and tap it
- In this menu, you'll see there's an option to opt-out of the Buddy Challenge. Take this and close the menu.
If these steps are followed fully, you'll no longer take part in the Buddy Challenge and other players be able to choose you as their buddy.
