Same issue here on iPhone 13. Select the ad, no ad shows, just the black screen with white banner on top - I have to close my game and restart it or I try shutting down my phone and restarting; that’s not alleviating the issue now - it was earlier this week. So, safe to say, it’s not fixed yet. It’s extremely frustrating!
After partially completing a level and I go to watch add to get extra moves my screen goes black and I have to kill the game. This has been happening for 2 days now, and was happening approx 10 days ago, but seemed to get resolved until now again

What is going on with Candy Crush can’t get videos the screen goes black have to shut down to get back to the game.I’ve never had problems with this now it’s constantly doing that
You’re not alone. It’s been a problem for many players since the last update on August 18. Nothing is being done about it. Player support has not been helpful. I’ve been trying to get the problem resolved on my iPhone for 6 days now.
I’ve been having the same problem for several weeks, I have reported the issue several times. They are probably tired of hearing from me… However, the problem continues to occur. It’s very frustrating 🥴
