Level 1
And at this point how many levels are there? I know new levels drop weekly. How long did it take to beat the game? I know it’s an accomplishment and some people have done it but it was never really meant to have an end lol. I know at this point there’s like 14,000 levels absolutely insane. No end in sight lol.
They use artificial intelligence now to roll out even more new levels every Wednesday. That is why there are now over 15,500 levels in Candy Crush. Quite a few of us stopped playing at 15,000 though because the levels became boring and unenjoyable. They are just so full of blockers and unimaginative. You are much better off playing levels below 10,000.
@christinewupp I was wondering when you say the game is boring why do you say that? I have 3 family games and don't find any of them boring. My game at 15,000 plus is the least boring to me. My other games are so easy to play that I am just zipping really fast on the levels those are boring to me. My top level game is interesting to me because of the challenge to past using no boosters and no events challenge me to compete the higher levels but definitely not boring. So I was just wondering
I found the levels above 14,000 boring because there is no gameplay. I just passed them by using UFOs and Party Poppers and bashing my way through the layers of blockers. Also I found that the later levels are all so much alike, I wouldn't even notice if they kept repeating them. They are clearly computer generated. I much prefer the levels I play in my other two remaining games as they are interesting and can be passed with using no boosters or just one booster wisely at the right moment. Just bashing the hell out of layers of blockers is just boring to me. We all have different playing strategies @cookiemae and I enjoy zipping through lots of levels and don't have the patience to try a level more than a few times.
@christinewupp I see. Everyone has their own style. I actually like playing a level a few times until I pass without boosters. That's my challenge to myself. The lower levels are so easy to pass (for me) without boosters that it takes a little of the fun out of the play. I love the episode races and win every one. My plan is see how much gold I can get. Lol. That's my lower level challenge.
I depends on the level range. You can just about beat any level up to 10,000 if you keep at it for long enough, just with starting boosters. The game will often give us timed ones, so if you time it right, you can replay a tough level while those are active or buy half an hour for 9 gold. I think that on the last 7 or so moves of a level a new part of the algorithm seems to kick in, which will decide if you will fail, pass or be left one move, one booster, or one order short. So I always pause three or four moves from the end of a tough level to scan the board and assess if the game requires me to play a single switch, lollipop or UFO, or if it is hopeless and I need to quit. Sometimes it is quite obvious that just one booster will be required to pass a few moves from the end, and I often play a single lollipop on my last move.
However, as far as catching up the top of the board, I am not sure how to do this now that the Season Pass only delivers one UFO per week. However, I don't read of many players stuck in the 14,000 range now, so maybe King have made those levels passable now? Instead there are multiple posts of players stuck for weeks on levels 15,000 and over. It may be that the levels get nerfed to make those players trying to catch up pay. When this thread started there were as many complaints about level 14,000-15,000 as there are now about levels 15,000+.
My own experience is that about 3 or 4 levels per episode in the top range require a party popper, the toughest also need multiple lollipops, or a UFO. Alternatively 10 gold will pass any level if you wait long enough, so if you have enough gold left in your account you can calculate how far this will get you. The best strategy might be to wait until so many players have dropped out that King make those levels easier, but then of course you will never catch up as 45 new levels gets released every week.
