I had 50 wins this morning at 10:00. My opponents both had 33. At 8:00 this evening, one opponent had 249. That is winning approximately 21 games per hour for 10 hours straight.
Is that even possible??
Strangely @christinewupp something similar has happened in my game. Yesterday it was me, Julie, and Shadow in the top three and Monu was fifth. Suddenly Monu has gone crazy and thrashed us all. I wonder if the Gold Rush is making people play more than they normally would.

Playing four or so Episodes in two hours is a lot different than playing nearly 15 in ten. As you say, achievable but I hope for his sake that he is cheating as I would hate to think he has actually spent ten hours playing the game.
Or they may just have done what I did this morning with this game I had neglected for a few days. I saw at 7am that I was still in reach of winning Sam's Streak and the Gold Club, so I went on a bit of a sudden playing spree. I started off neck and neck with you, I think, on 48 levels and just over two hours later got this lead. I hope I'm not in your weekly race@Alienscar ? š
Is the player in your friends list @jfechter? If they are check that the levels this week correspond to the levels won in your Contest. Also keep on eye on their current level. Check that this advances in lone with the number of levels completed.
As Christine says the number is unachievable, but playing for ten hours straight is a bit unusual.

It was just interesting that the player was winning at a normal rate until I started getting ahead. Then, wow! 20+ games per hour for 10 hours straight.
Yes, I have played at this rate and when All Stars comes you will see a lot more of this. My own play rate when I am trying to win a leaderboard competition is about 20-25 minutes per episode (=15 levels). It doesn't matter if I play at levels 1000 or 5000, that is all pretty much the same.

By any chance, do you see a "milestone level" banner on that opponent's profile icon? If they are at lower levels, then, it is possible to win at least 1 full episode in less than an hour!
The "cheaters" issue is being investigated by the Candy game studio and I am working on finding out an update on it.
